If you want you can already collect during the story what is available but this will lead to more backtracking. The collectibles are all outside in the open world where you can free-roam. They all get marked when unfogging the map, except Spider-Bots which are not marked. Overall, the game is a phenomenal experience, and its 32 missions are all rich and full of content. This section leads to one of the most brutal moments of the game, as Venom kills Kraven the Hunter by eating his head. Following this encounter, Peter is tasked to find where Harry ran off before Venom takes over the city with his Symbiote. A few missions later, Peter, with his symbiote suit, helps Miles Morales track down the Lizard, but the younger Spider-Man realizes that his friend is not quite himself.
